Hello, I'm Alphonse.  My experience in the beauty industry began at the age of 10; simply from the touch of hair and experimenting with my mother's and sisters' makeup.  It was then I knew a career as a hair and make-up artist would definitely be in my future.  In high school, I taught myself how to cut hair from a book I found in my high school library.  After graduating high school in 1983, I immediately attended beauty college.  That pursuit allowed me to really submerge myself in all aspects of beauty.  From haircuts, hair coloring to make-up.

After completing beauty college and receiving my Cosmetology license in 1984, my official journey as a true professional began.  Throughout this journey, I've received and still get continuous education from the best of the best.  I've studied global techniques from TONI & GUY (aka Bed Head), Rusk, Wella Professional, Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Kevyn Aucoin and many more.

After 35 years, I am still fulfilling that creativity. I was a hairstylist for the 2008 Garnier Fructis Tour, in which I had the absolute pleasure to work with Chuck Hezekiah, make-up artist for Maybelline Cosmetics and the T. V. show Lipstick JungleI have also done work for New Orleans and Southern Woman magazines, fashion shows for Saks Fifth Avenue, local fashion designers, 2 TLC Makeover Stories, and a segment for Inside Edition.  However, I continuously love to emerse myself in hair and make-up.  Everything from weddings, photo shoots, Halloween, Mardi Gras balls, graduations, Debutantes, sweet sixteen parties, dances, proms, to promotional events.
